A native of Vienna, Virginia, Dr. Kevin McGrath completed his undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary in 1973 before moving on to the Medical College of Virginia Dental School, where he earned his D.D.S. in 1980. After practicing as a family dentist for one year, Dr. McGrath returned to the Medical College of Virginia to complete his orthodontic residency.

Dr. McGrath began practicing orthodontics in 1983 and would continue as a Clinical Instructor at MCV for the next five years. A Board Certified orthodontist, he remains active in continuing education and is a guest lecturer at the MCV Orthodontic Department. Dr. McGrath stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics with active memberships in the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, Fairfax County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Virginia Association of Orthodontists and the Medical College of Virginia Orthodontics Foundation.
