		Retainers are given at the end of orthodontic treatment when your braces are removed. You should wear your retainers full-time for the first three months, then at nighttime for one full year. After that, you may reduce your time, but you must continue throughout life to occasionally wear your retainers to ensure your teeth will remain in the ideal occlusion that Dr. McGrath has provided for you.
